My Dad was so nice to save this nest for me that was filled with 3 baby birds just 2 weeks ago. It's amazing to really look closely how much work went into constructing this nest. Collecting one by one little twigs, mud, and of course dry grass for soft padding for her eggs. Not to mention the hole in the centre for maybe ventilation or draining as I don't think judging by the details it would have been a mistake. Set strategically in the middle.
